CAM PUNCHING UNIT
The M-ML Cam Punching Unit is the most compact mechanical cam on the market, designed for side cutting and lateral punching operations. It is ideal for die applications where available space is extremely limited.
The punching unit integrates a standard ISO 8020 punch, ensuring full compatibility with standardized components and easy maintenance. It is capable of developing a force of up to 5,000 daN, making it suitable for medium- to heavy-duty sheet-metal processing.
Punch extraction from the sheet metal is carried out by a high-quality polyurethane rubber (EFFEBE), which guarantees reliable extraction even in the most demanding conditions. This solution reduces the risk of material adhesion and ensures smooth, continuous production cycles.
An optional adaptation kit is also available, allowing the front installation of the Newstark Stark Strip. This solution significantly improves sheet-metal extraction after processing and helps extend the service life of the EFFEBE rubber by reducing wear and optimizing long-term system reliability.
The cam returns to its rest position by means of a steel spring, ensuring fast response, reliability and long service life even in intensive production cycles. A mechanical return system is also included.
Stroke versions
Two stroke versions are available:
- M: standard stroke
- ML: long stroke, for applications requiring greater punch travel
The side punching unit can be installed either horizontally or at an angle, with inclination ranging from +40° to −40°, offering excellent installation flexibility.
